Thanks for commenting. Sarah's a fine poet, and I'm cheered to learn that her poetry is being put to such good use!

I love this book of Sarah Bennett's and add the Advice To A Nail in with it as I've been sending it instead of get well cards to my friends who, at this age (70's and 80's), seem to be falling apart. Advice to a Nail seems to me to be advice from a Guardian Angel. So touching. And I'm so proud to say Sarah is my daughter in law.

Sarah, I know it is a very beautiful and quite hard-nosed book. I look forward to reading!

Will do; thanks! (VN has a good-sized readership, too, but of course it's a different readership, one not so focused on poetry.)

Enjoyed reading your review, Dave. You might consider airing it once more at Galatea Resurrects -- Eileen Tabios reprints reviews, is very chapbook-friendly and I believe GR has a large readership.

I recognize that wistfulness. It is hard to look at the world without longing for something that's long ago gone missing. Every bird is a reminder. Beautiful review, dave. I like the sound of Sarah's words and voice.
