In reply to Carolyn Hoffman. I don't remember what time of year it was the previous time I visited, decades ago, but an autumn visit sounds ace! We'll have to make another pilgrimage after the reconstruction work is complete.

Opossums? Yeah, they are adorble in an ugly way. You might have heard the expression “playing possum” – their signature move is to leverage their creepy looks and play dead to discourage predators.

I visited the end of October. Beautiful place. Loved the tour. Waterfall was just a trickle as the area was in a drought. Still beautiful

What a fabulous place! My late mother, daughter of a London architect, longed to visit Fallingwater. By the time she could afford to make the trip across the Atlantic, she was too far gone in heart failure.
