					<description><![CDATA[Thank you Luisa, your poem captures in phrases and imagery what I expressed in ink, color and translucency. From the opening lines reminding the reader that The Bay is changing,  its land sinking and swallowed by more water to your vivid imagery of the bayonet, ( so appropriate for the time frame for the major focus of the painting) captures the beauty and pain of The Bay. I feel these lines 
&quot;You have to …hold it up to the light, to see what soaks through:/how the colors of blood mute with salt / into indigo and siena but never fade&quot; crystalize my feelings and rationale for painting &quot;It is Rumored~Bloody Point, MD&quot;  as a translucent double sided scroll.]]></description>
