    this is me all the time. not just in april. much to the chagrin of my husband! (there isn’t a hell more intolerable than one in which housework is more important than poetry.)

      Well, and you’re an artist too, so you have a double excuse, right? But maybe you should get a robot — if, as it sounds, the husband isn’t trainable.
