Ghost Sunlight

though weakest
                                    and most austere in winter

I am grateful for the dry
                                                     silverpoint of pine and birch

for parallel tracks of electrical
                                                                  line bisecting parts of sky
 
early morning windowpanes
                                                               opacity of streams
