Life Cycle

A steady shimmer of rain.

Three globes of fruit finally
pushing through, not caring they
will be out of season.

My efforts sieve without ceasing.

Blue shreds on the soil
where forget-me-nots
have fallen.

Here I am: meagre, becoming and unbecoming.

In response to an entry from the Morning Porch.
