If you’re interested in Swedish poets, I can recommend two other translations I think you might like. I reviewed Artur Lundkvist’s Agadir here. Evidently Lundkvist specialized in travel poetry. And one I haven’t reviewed is Aniara, the science fiction epic by Harry Martinson (a Nobel laureate, FWIW). I have the complete translation by Stephen Klass and Leif Sjöberg. It tells the story of 8,000 survivors of a destroyed earth in a spaceship bound for nowhere. One of the most depressing books I think I’ve ever read. It was also made into an opera by composer Karl-Birger Blomdahl.
